Ohio Public Employee Deferred Compensation Program Receives Eddy Pension & Investments Award for Work with iGrad

Columbus, OH, March 22, 2022 – (PR.com) – The Ohio Public Employee Deferred Compensation Program (Ohio DC) in partnership with iGrad and Nationwide’s Enrich™ platform took first place in the category financial well-being among public schemes with more than 5,000 participants in the annual Eddy Awards sponsored by Pensions & Investments (P&I).

The Eddy Awards identify and reward best practices in investment education for defined contribution plan participants. Ohio DC launched the Enrich Financial Wellness online platform in 2021.

“Promoting the financial well-being of our participants and helping them improve their overall level of financial understanding is central to our mission in Ohio DC,” said Ohio DC General Manager Christina Elliott. “With all the economic turmoil of the past few years, we felt the time was right to provide our participants with a tool to help them improve their financial well-being and Enrich was exactly the partner we were looking for.”

The Enrich platform, which Ohio DC participants can access at https://ohio457.enrich.org, offers the Your Money Personality™ Financial Behavior Assessment which analyzes each user’s financial “personality.” . The interactive and mobile-friendly platform also provides:

● A Financial Wellness Checkup that personalizes the platform for each user.
● Interactive financial education lessons with personalized action plans on topics such as budgeting, mortgages, healthcare, college savings, student loan repayment, banking, credit, planning financial, etc.
● An investment allocation analyzer.
● A student loan tracking tool.
● Real-time personal finance calculators and budget tool.

The winning entry was a joint effort of Ohio DC, iGrad and Nationwide, showcasing the ongoing campaign to inspire members to reduce financial stress by improving money management skills and financial literacy. Nationwide was instrumental in the design of marketing materials including monthly emails targeted to two age groups, rotating web banners, newsletter content and graphics, presentation of “Improving Results of retreat for your employees” and the presentation of the Enrich participants presentations.

“Financial wellness has become even more important due to the additional financial strains caused by the pandemic,” said iGrad Founder and Chairman Rob LaBreche. “We are thrilled to be recognized alongside Ohio DC with the Eddy Award for our financial wellness platform Enrich, which is proven to reduce financial stress through easy-to-understand, personalized and individualized programs. .”

The 2022 award was announced at P&I’s annual East Coast Defined Contribution Conference in Orlando, Florida on March 15.
