Jensen’s services are geared more to women. She offers haircuts, hair dyes and facial hair removal.
She said she plans to have spa parties in the future. She will not make an appointment because she is the only hairdresser in her salon.
“I just want to be able to offer what I have offered here in a new modern atmosphere,” she said.
From June 1, Jensen will begin the process of renovating his new store. She plans to paint the walls and ceiling, as well as install new electrical and lighting fixtures, floors and furniture.
She said she wanted to renovate her living room as many nearby stores like Daylight Donuts, Oasis Bar and Cork & Barrel have all recently undergone renovations.
“It’s fun to give this building a little bit of a facelift too,” Jensen said.
Hairstylist Brianna Radke, who first worked with Jensen in 2009 in Omaha, said Jensen was “a constant pleasure to be there”.
“Her charismatic personality is contagious. She has always been filled with so much talent and passion for the industry that I am not surprised that she is launching her own salon, ”said Radke. “Columbus is so lucky to have such a talented hairdresser in his community!”
Jensen said she hopes her customers enjoy her new place.
